Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, ordered Priest to the Institute of the Incarnate Word Deacon Juan Manuel Ávila . He and his family are linked for many years with our parish.

CHURCH DURING THE SUMMER?
We ask for your attention on the way you dress when coming to the house of God. Despite the summer heat, remember we should not wear shorts, sleeveless or low cut shirts or blouses. Let us show how much rever-ence we have to our Lord and our neighbor. Modesty and respect above all. Avoid the ushers attention. Thank you very much for your collaboration.
ALTAR BOYS
We are inviting children in our community to serve as altar boys. Those interested should speak with Father Julio or call the parish office to make an appointment with a priest. Soon we will start preparation classes for new altar servers.

PA-RA IR A LA IGLESIA DUPA-RANTE EL VEPA-RANO?
Pedimos prestar atención al modo de vestir cuando vienena la Casa de Dios. A pesar del calor del verano, recor-demos no debemos usar pantalones cortos, ni playe-ras o blusas sin mangas o escotadas. Mostremos cuánta reverencia tenemos a Nuestro Señor y a nues-tro prójimo. El pudor y el respeto ante todo. Eviten que los acomodadores les llamen la atención. Muchas gra-cias por su colaboración.
GRUPO DE MONAGUILLOS
Estamos invitando a niños de nuestra
comunidad para servir como monaguillos. Los interesados deberán hablar con el P. Julio o llamar a la oficina parroquial para hacer cita con algún sacerdote. Pronto daremos inicio a las clases de preparación para nuevos Monaguillos.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION STUDENTS
On May 10th and 11th there will be no religious education classes due to Mother's Day.
On Sunday May 18, all religious education
(Saturday and Sunday) students and par-ents will be at 9 am special end of the year Mass. Delivery of distinctions and awards will take place immediately after Mass at the par-ish hall.
On Saturday the May 17th there will not be
classes so that everyone can attend Mass and
the delivery mentions on Sunday, May 18.
The last day that is required to attend classes is on May 18. All parents are invited!
INFORMACION PARA BAUTIZOS
REQUISITOS:
El niño/a tiene que ser menor de 6 años (Los niños de 7+ años deben tomar clases de catecismo).
Traer el acta/certificado original de nacimiento del niño/a.
Padrinos Solteros: (no viviendo en pareja)
necesi-tan presentar una copia del certificado de Confirmación.
Padrinos Casados: tienen que presentar el certificado de matrimonio por la Iglesia Católica
Padres y Padrinos deberán asistir a dos (2) clases de preparación para el bautismo.
Hay una donación de $60.00
La próximas fechas disponibles para Bautismo son; 14 y 28 de Junio, (10 a.m. en español y 9a.m.
en Inglés)

2014—2015 Catechism
For children who will go on their
second year:
Saturday, May 3 from 10:30am to 2:00pm
in the Parish Hall.
For NEW students:
Sunday May 4, 11 and 18 after each Mass in the
Hall, and Tuesday May 6, 13 and 20 from
4pm to 6pm at the Catechism Office.
Requirements:
For new students: original Birth Certificate and
original Baptism Certificate.
Cost:
$80.00 for 1 child, $140.00 for 2,
or $200.00 for 3 or more (siblings).
Registration is limited.
Registrations will end when the class rooms are
filled. Try to register as soon as possible and
prepare all the requirements now.
There will be no exceptions.
ESTUDIANTES DEL CAECISMO
Los días 10 y 11 de mayo no habrá clases de catecismo debido al día de las Madres.
El domingo 18 de Mayo, todos los estudiantes y padres de catecismo (los del sábado y los del domingo) tendrán la Misa especial de fin de año a las 9 am. La entrega de distinciones y premios se realizará inmediatamente después en el salón parroquial.
El sábado 17 no habrá clases para que puedan asistir todos el domingo 18 a la misa y entrega de menciones.
El último día que deben asistir a clases es el 18 de mayo. Todos los padres están invitados.
