THE WAY
Today we sense the apostles' trepidation as they begin to realize that the Lord would soon be leaving them. In their fear, they ask, "Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?" (John 14:5). Jesus tells them that he is the way. The Easter season has been a time of growing in Easter faith so that we, too, may learn to know that Jesus is the way. We can take comfort in the Lord's promise that he is going to his Father's house to prepare a place for us, his chosen people who have been called out of darkness into God's wonderful light. As the paschal candle
continues to burn during this holy season, let us remember that in baptism we were given the light of Christ. With Christ our light as the beacon lighting our way, let us march toward the glory of Pentecost.

EL CAMINO
Hoy sentimos la perturbación de los apóstoles cuando empiezan a darse cuenta de que el Señor
pronto los dejará. Temerosos preguntan: "Señor, no sabemos a dónde vas ¿cómo podemos saber
el camino?" (Juan 14:5). Jesús les dice que él es el camino. El tiempo de Pascua ha sido un tiempo
para crecer en la fe pascual para que, así también, nosotros
podamos darnos cuenta de que Jesús es el camino. Nos consuela
la promesa del Señor de que va a la casa de su Padre a preparar
un lugar para nosotros, su pueblo elegido que ha sido llamado de
las tinieblas a la luz admirable de Dios. Mientras el cirio pascual
continúa ardiendo en este tiempo santo, recordemos que en
nuestro bautismo nos dieron la luz de Cristo. Con Cristo, nuestra
luz como faro iluminando nuestro camino, marchemos hacia la
gloria de Pentecostés.

Fatima Centennial
Join our parish family as we celebrate the Centennial of Fatima beginning Saturday, May 13th after the 8:00am Mass. We will view a short 12 min. film on Fatima in the hall, and pray a Rosary followed with fellowship. Thereafter journey with us on the first Saturday of each month through October as we gather to pray the Rosary and Fatima prayers after each 8:00am Mass.

Catholic Fellowship
ST. ANNE’S ROSARY MAKERS meet every first Friday of the month.
Meetings are held in the Youth Room after the 8:00AM Mass and the recitation of the Holy Rosary. The cord and one decade wire rosaries are taught in English and Spanish at no expense.
The next meeting will be Friday, June 2nd at 9:00am. For more information, or to RSVP, please call Joyce at 369-3031 or Lydia at 334-2460.
ST. ANNE’S SENIOR MONTHLY LUNCHEON will be held on Tuesday, May 23rdat 11:00am at the Lodi Moose Lodge on Woodbridge Road. The menu will be Pork Roast with apple sauce, mashed potatoes w/gravy. Juice in pan with ladle.
The cost is $12.00 per person. If you are not on the call list, please contact Marianna at 368-7640 All
reservations have to be made the Friday before the luncheon. Please call before bringing a guest. If you do not have reservations you will not be accepted. As the cook needs to plan ahead. Please don't forget to bring your plastic or paper bags for the Lodi Service Center. They are very much appreciated.
Thank you to all of you who have supported this year’s Bishop’s Ministry Appeal. So far we have 294 families have made pledges and gifts of $115,746. We are 91.6% of the way to reaching our goal.
