Pastor’s Corner
Today’s readings proclaim the three persons of God. The Book of Deuteronomy highlights the Creator-Father (what other od is there like ours?); The Gospel presents us Jesus, the Son, who announces that all power in heaven and on earth has been given to him; and, in the second reading, Saint Paul reminds us that we are guided by the Holy Spirit because we are his sons and daughters. This communion of persons should be reflected in the communion we share in our own relationships, with our family, with the Church, with society. Through today’s homily, Prayer of the faithful, and liturgical commentaries, we can emphasize that the mystery of the Trinity, a fundamental doctrine of our Catholic faith, is also a great source of reflection on our spiritual journey. Rev. Juan J. Sosa
