Hello everyone
Hola a todos,
La cuaresma empezó muy bien para mí. Espero que también estén entrando en esta maravillosa tradición católica. Y si no, recuerda: ¡nunca es demasiado tarde!
Esta semana tendremos dos eventos especiales: El 16 de Marzo (Jueves) una imagen especial
de Nuestra Señora de Fátima visitará nuestra iglesia. Nuestra Legión de María nos guiará la Devocion de la Divina Misericordia (3:00 PM), Rosario Español (4:00 PM), Rosario Inglés (5:00 PM), Oración del Angelus (6:00 PM). También habrá una breve charla acerca de María por los miembros del "Ejército Azul", y luego concluiremos con una Misa bilingüe especial a las 7:00 PM.
Segundo evento especial: Nuestro querido Obispo Barnes celebrará 25 años de servicio episcopal en esta diócesis con una Misa especial en St. Pablo en Chino Hills --- 18 de marzo (Sábado) a las 10:00 AM. El Obispo Barnes ha sido un obispo ejemplar: inteligente, dedicado, celoso, creativo, abierto, con el corazón de un siervo. Él es sin duda el mejor obispo que he conocido. Usted está cordialmente invitado a esta celebración especial.

Lent started off very good for me. I hope you are entering into this wonderful Catholic tradition as well.
And if you haven’t, remember: it’s never too late!
This week features two special events: On March 16 (Thursday) a special image of Our Lady of Fatima will visit our church. Our Legion of Mary will lead us in the Divine Mercy Devotion (3pm), Span- ish Rosary (4pm), English Rosary (5pm), Angelus Prayer (6pm). There will also be a brief talk about Mary from members of the “Blue Army,” and then we’ll conclude with a special bilingual Mass at 7 pm.
Second Special Event: our dear Bishop Barnes will celebrate 25 years of episcopal service in this diocese at a special Mass over at St. Paul’s in Chino Hills --- March 18 (Saturday) at 10am. Bishop Barnes has been an exemplary bishop --- smart, devoted, zealous, creative, open, with a servant’s heart. He is certainly the finest bishop I’ve ever known. You are warmly invited to this very local celebration.

grade student from St Margaret Mary School or Parish who is attending a Catholic High School for
the upcoming 2017-2018 academic years.
