Jesús nos enseña a perdonar a los demás
Estamos en el quinto Domingo de Cuaresma. Estamos próximos a la gran celebración de la pascua. Qué alegría y gozo debe invadir nuestro corazón. Jesús nos invita a desprendernos de las ataduras que llevamos en nuestra vida. Una liberación de amor por él en el sacramento de la reconciliación. El Evangelio de San Juan nos presenta la escena de la mujer sorprendida en adulterio. Podemos ver, la mala intención del hombre hacia el pecador y el amor liberador de Jesús.
El castigo del pecador. Los fariseos y escribas buscaban un motivo para hacer caer a Jesús para acusarlo. La intención del corazón es lastimar a Jesús. En el Evangelio de San Juan donde los Fariseos y los escribas le llevan a Jesús a una mujer sorprendida en adulterio.
No era porque confiaban en Jesús. No era porque querían a ayudar a la mujer. No era para protegerla o para que Jesús la aconsejara. Ellos le dicen Moisés nos manda en la ley apedrear a estas mujeres ¿tú qué dices? El hombre solo acusa cuando la persona se equivoca. El ser humano solo condena a los demás. Ellos querían que Jesús diera la orden de apedrear a la mujer. Jesús conocía el corazón de los fariseos y escribas que no tenían una verdadera intención del corazón. Jesús nos conoce perfectamente. Jesús puede ver lo que cargamos en nuestro interior del corazón. No podemos fingirle. No podemos ocultarle nada a él. Debemos de reconocer quiénes somos y como somos. Nuestra humanidad es juzgar y condenar. Es lo que vivimos en nuestra sociedad. Un mundo cruel donde nadie puede equivocarse porque todos los que están alrededor nos van condenar.
Una sociedad con un pensamiento donde nos sentimos perfectos y jueces de los demás. Un mundo de división donde dejo de hablarle a cada persona que me quiere ayudar, o corregir. Una humanidad de castigos. En los últimos días hemos visto las noticias como Rusia ha invadido a Ucrania. También nos damos cuenta como los países poderosos del mundo han puesto grandes sanciones a Rusia. Un castigo humano que viene a destruir el desarrollo de la sociedad y afectar a los mas pobres, y desprotegidos. Unas ansias de poder que ciegan al hombre y que no le importa matar, destruir a otros hermanos.
El amor liberador de Jesús. La mente y corazón de Dios no se asemejan al corazón y mente del hombre. Jesús responde a los fariseos y escribas “Aquel de ustedes que no tenga pecado, que le tire la primera piedra”. Una respuesta al corazón. Una respuesta que nos debe hacer tambalear y reflexionar en nuestra vida. Jesús conocía el corazón de ellos pero que se creían perfectos e intachables. El evangelio dice que uno a uno se fue yendo hasta que se quedo solo Jesús y la mujer. Jesús le dijo a
la mujer ¿Dónde están los que te acusaban? ¿Nadie te ha condenado? Ella contesto: “Nadie, Señor”. Y Jesús le dijo:
“Tampoco yo te condeno. Vete y ya no vuelvas a pecar”. Que liberación del corazón habrá experimentado esta mujer.
Probablemente la mujer sentía tristeza, arrepentimiento y frustración por su pecado. Quizá sentía la muerte pero Jesús le
da otra oportunidad de amor. El no la condena, ni la juzga, al contrario le abre la puerta a un nuevo camino. Una nueva vida
sin pecado: vete y no vuelvas a pecar. El corazón misericordioso de Jesús nos perdona, nos renueva y nos da la
oportunidad de cambiar y vivir una vida santa agradable a Dios.
Hoy en esta cuaresma es una oportunidad para experimentar el amor liberador de Dios. Acércanos a los brazos de Jesús en la confesión y experimentar el abrazo paternal de Dios de perdón.
Es urgente que cada uno de nosotros bautizados comencemos a
ser hombre y mujeres de perdón. Romper las cadenas de indiferencia. Romper las fronteras de odio, venganza, dolor,
enojo, envidia, orgullo, por abrazar el corazón de perdón de
Dios. Es reconocer que Dios nos perdona si nosotros perdonamos. Necesitamos un corazón de perdón y misericordia.

Jesus teaches us to forgive others
We are in the fifth Sunday of Lent. We are close to the great celebration of Easter. What joy must invade our hearts? Jesus invites us to let go of the ties that we carry in our lives. We are
called to experience the love of God in the sacrament of reconciliation. The Gospel of Saint John presents us the scene of
the woman caught in adultery. We can see the bad intention of man towards the sinner and the liberating love of Jesus.
Punishment is the result of sin. The Pharisees and scribes were looking for a reason to bring Jesus down to accuse him. The intention of the heart is to hurt Jesus. In the Gospel of Saint John where the Pharisees and the scribes bring a woman caught in adultery to Jesus. It was not because they trusted Jesus. It was not because they wanted to help the woman. It was not to protect her or for Jesus to advise her. They tell him Moses commands us in the law to stone such women, what do you say? The human being only accuses when a person does something wrong. The human being only condemns others. The Pharisees and scribes wanted Jesus to give the order to stone the woman. Jesus knew the heart of the Pharisees and scribes who had no true heart intent. Jesus knew the evil of their hearts. Jesus knows us perfectly. Jesus can see what we carry inside our hearts. We cannot fake it. We cannot hide anything from him. We must recognize who we are.
Our humanity is to judge and condemn. It is what we live every day in our society. A cruel world where no one can make a mistake because everyone around us will condemns us. A society with thinking we are perfect and judges of others. We live in a world of divisions where I stopped talking to each person who
wants to help me, and correct me. We live in a world of punishment. In recent days we have seen the news as Russia has
invaded Ukraine. We also realize how powerful countries have put heavy sanctions on Russia. This punishment destroys the development of the human being. The desire for power blinds the man that he does not care about killing, destroying other brothers.
The love of Jesus is the liberation of the heart. The mind and heart of God do not resemble the heart and mind of man. Jesus responds to the Pharisees and scribes “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her”. This is an answer to the heart. An answer that should make us staggers and reflects on our lives. Jesus knew their hearts but they thought they were perfect and blameless. The gospel says that one by one were gone until only Jesus and the woman were left. Jesus said to
the woman, where are those who accused you? Has no one condemned you? She replied, "No one, Sir." And Jesus said to
him: “Neither do I condemn you. “Go and from now on do not sin any more". What liberation of the heart this woman must have experienced. The woman probably felt sadness, regret, and frustration at her sin. Perhaps she felt her death but Jesus gave her another chance at love. He does not condemn her, nor does he judge her, on the contrary, he opens the door to a new path. A new life without sin: go and sin no more. The merciful heart of Jesus forgives us, renews us and gives us the opportunity to change and live a holy life pleasing to God.
Today this Lent is an opportunity to experience the liberating love of God. Bring us closer to the arms of Jesus in confession and experience God's paternal embrace of forgiveness. It is urgent that each of us baptized begin to be men and women of forgiveness. Break the chains of indifference. Break the borders of hate, revenge, pain, anger, envy, pride, by embracing God's heart of forgiveness. It is recognizing that God forgives us if we forgive. We need a heart of forgiveness and mercy.

te llenara de gracias. Si tienes mas tiempo, aprovecha esa oportunidad de
acompañar a Jesús.
