Catholic Charities Mobile Food Pantry is Coming to our Community!
On Tuesday, July 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Catholic Charities Mobile Food Pantry will be distributing food at St. Charles Borromeo (145 E. Grand Ave. Bensenville) in the church parking lot (rain or shine) Catholic Charities an the Northern Illinois Food Bank have partnered to deliver nutritious food (meat, produce and nonperishable items) to people in need.
Participants are asked to bring bags, laundry baskets, boxes, carts or wagons to transport food and grocery products through the line and back to their vehicles. A representative from Catholic Charities will be available at this event to explain additional services provided by the agency.
You do not have to be Catholic to participate. Catho-lic Charities helps people of all faiths and beliefs. For more information about Catholic Charities, please visit catholiccharitiesjoliet.org
¡La Despensa de Comida Móvil de Caridades Ca-tólicas viene a nuestra comunidad!
El Martes, 29 de julio de 2:00-4:00 pm, Caridades Católicas estará distribuyendo comida en St. Charles Borromeo (145 E. Grand Ave.. Bensenville) en el estacionamiento de la iglesia (lluvia o sol) Caridades Católicas y el Banco de Alimentos de Norte de Illi-nois se han asociado para ofrecer alimentos nutriti-vos (carne, productos y artículos no perecederos) a las personas necesitadas.
Se les pide a los participantes que traigan bolsas, ca-nastas para la ropa, cajas, carros o vagones para el transporte de alimentos y productos de alimentación a través de la línea y de nuevo a sus vehículos. Un representante de Caridades Católicas estará disponi-ble en este evento para explicar los servicios adicio-nales prestados por la agencia.

After all this time, it seems we have been a good example and now many others are collecting petals as well. So, we will no longer need to be collecting rose petals at St. Joseph Church. Doors and Lights
Good News and Bad News
The fundraising effort to replace five exterior doors and the current lighting in the church is under way.
The good news is 210 donors have made contributions. The bad news is 200 more donors are needed. More than 400 donors made contributions during the roof campaign. Improvements and basic maintenance to your church can only be accomplished with your support.
The cost of these projects is $40,000. A $100 donation per family, payable over 3 months, is being asked. Envelopes can be found in the narthex and lobby. Thank you for your support.

El esfuerzo de la recaudación de fondos para reemplazar las cinco puertas y las luces actuales de la iglesia esta en mar-cha.
La buena noticia es que 210 donantes han dado contribu-ción. La mala noticia es que se necesitan 200 donantes mas. Mas de 400 donantes contribuyeron en la campaña del techo. Mejoramientos y mantenimiento basico para su iglesia solo se puede lograr con su apoyo.
